Criminal Law
When I started my legal career over ten years ago, the most rewarding part was helping the underdog win the seemingly hopeless case against overwhelming odds. This is most true when facing the State. I fully understand and appreciate that when the government charges you with the commission of a crime it can be a frightening, frustrating, and overwhelming feeling.
My specialty and passion is the jury trial. A jury is the great equalizer, and this is most true in criminal cases. It is my belief that every single person deserves to have his or her case heard if he or she wishes. It is also my strong belief that there is no such thing as an “unwinable” case, and that the best results often come from the most aggressive approaches. I have successfully litigated criminal cases at every level from speeding tickets to Class X felonies, and even Murder charges. I realize that each case is the most important case to the person facing the charges whether it is disorderly conduct, DUI, Burglary, or Capital Murder. No one should ever feel that their case isn’t my most important case.
