The Lawyer

I am first and foremost…a Trial Lawyer. That is my passion and my life’s work. There is nothing I love more than arguing to a jury. I have spent the last ten years doing just that…trying as many cases as I could, and both my clients and I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed significant positive results.

I spent eight years as a Public Defender in Kane and Dupage Counties, and two years at Norton, Mancini, a firm specializing in Medical Malpractice, Municipal and Legal Malpractice Defense, where I learned from some of the best in the field. I have also spent the last five years teaching the art of the trial to younger attorneys and students.

While in the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office I was the Supervisor of the Misdemeanor Division, which encompassed all misdemeanor courtrooms, DUI and Domestic Violence. I supervised and trained the younger attorneys in the office in hope of passing on some of my love for Jury Trials. I am often asked to lecture on subjects such as Jury Selection, and Trial Skills. Additionally, I have spent the last three years coaching the Glenbard South High School Mock Trial Team, which took second place in the State in 2006.
