The Jury Trial is the great equalizer. It doesn’t matter who the attorney knows, or what favors he or she is owed. It is about the facts, and the Attorney’s ability to put those facts into a story that twelve men and women of the community will understand and empathize with. I have been doing this for more than a decade, and I have learned a few lessons about what a client wants from their lawyer.

First and foremost they want someone who will try his hardest to win their case. They do not want to be told that things are hopeless, and that settlement or plea bargain is the only option. On the other hand they don’t want someone who will tell them everything is fine when it isn’t.

Your attorney does not have to agree with you, but he must agree to fight for you. It is your decision to plead, settle, or argue your case…It is my job to make sure you feel comfortable in whatever decision you make.
